Those are great apps… if you want musical ringtones. But you still have to remember which song is for which contact, and sometimes those songs can play at the wrong place/time and be unprofessional.

Personally, I prefer Talking Caller ID… something my Nokia phone had three years ago, when I switched to the iPhone. I was surprised the iPhone didn't have that out of the box. So I created an app for that, called AutoRingtone! You can combine dozens of voices (funny and/or professional) and 100's of sound fx to create a ringtones that literally tells you who is calling! It's an iOS app, currently, but the ringtones it creates work on both iPhone and Android!

AutoRingtone was released in November 2009 and over 3 million ringtones have been created by our users since then, using the PRO or free versions! Now, we have an even better, more graphical version, called Ringtone Director.

I'd be happy to provide a promo code for the PRO version. Just let me know if you're interested. There's also a free version, with a subset of voices.

Thanks for your time and take care.
