Compass iPad Stand

I bought my Compass iPad stand about a month ago and love it. Portable and solid. Mark Metzger did a more detailed review here.

I bought one around the same time, and think it's very useful and very attractive. Unfortunately, I also learned that the TSA flags it for further screening 100% of the time, given its heavy metal composition and somewhat pointed appearance when folded in my bag.

I am consistently impressed with the products being released by Twelve South over the past year. I have the Book Book case for my MacBook Pro and this looks like a really nice portable stand for my iPad. Glad to see someone out there is pushing the envelope.

Yes, David, it does look cool…but highly questionable. It looks like something James Bond would unfold just before affixing it to the zip line he just secured across two buildings in Morocco with a dart gun.
