E-Mail Linking in Snow Leopard

I used to have a keyboard shortcut under Leopard that allowed me to insert links to text when composing email messages. Someone at Apple must have had the same need. In Snow Leopard, you can do it with the built in shortcut: command-K.

    Hi David,

So Link seems to work if I want to link to a web page, but do you know how I could link to a local document in Mail?

Many other email programs have this as a standard feature, but I am at a loss to find it in Mail. Instead of sending attachments for review, it would be great to just send links to documents on our office server, as I would using Outlook or Thunderbird.

    Thanks!
